I am planning on having a stall at the Green Flea Markets at Davies park West end on Saturday the 24th of November. If all goes well I will be there every second Saturday. I also have The Little Market on again on November 30th. Although I have 2 exams to do this month ( my little one got sick so I had to defer them) I am sort of on holidays and have no classes, so stay tuned, I will be making good use of the time I assure you and will post about my progress here.

I am planning on dyeing some more woo yarn in the next few days and making some more tie tops as the response has been great! I have some cotton yarn coming too so I will make some out of that and also some skirts.

Its that time again!

Holiday fun!

I am on Uni Holidays so while my son is at kindy I have been having fun making lots of new stuff. Fortunately the wool tops and dyes I ordered last week arrived yesterday and my yarn from Treliske arived today. Here is a pic of my haul that came in the first parcel. There is also some lovely Organic Cotton in there, yum!

And here is today's effort. It is my first time dyeing with Landscapes and I really enjoyed it. Easy to use and the colours are just great! I am loving the multicoloured tops, gotta get some more of that! These will be available at the Little Market at Avid Reader on Friday the 28th of Sept.

Been a while!

Its been a very long time since I updated this - sorry!

I have heaps of winter gear in my store at ozebaby - if you are a member of nappycino you get 10%, have a lok in promos and sales to get the code.

I have just learnt to felt and it is sooo much fun!

I am currently in the process of testing my Jackabear soaker design with some very generous testers, I have finished making the small tester and ha started the medium. This will mean that I will have a set pattern that I will work from in the future and I will have sizing system in place.

The next Little Market will be held on the 31st of August at Avid Reader. It is set to be our biggest market yet as we will be running a stall capacity yay! As always children are more than welcome, there will be food and wine and lots of crafty things.

The Little Market

5:30 pm- 8pm at Avid Read Bookshop West End, last Friday of the month, starting 29th June! I have been busy making some different things, hand cut one of a kind stencils for some tees and have tweaked the glove pattern so its just right now. If you live in Brisbane come down this Friday night and check out some very cool locally crafted wares. I think this is the beginning of something magical!

So I made Jack and I some warm things for our hands. We are going for a week and it will be coooold!

I am spending today winding wool and dyeing for some more gloves for a friend and for some more large Jackabear soakers. I have to work on the pattern a bit but I migfht make a few pairs to sell at some stage. I love being on holidays from uni, I have time to ponder new things and experiment too!

Carnivale

I have been busy dyeing wool again. This is the beginning of a Jackabear Soaker. This is the first time I attempted 6 colours in one yarn, the result is a little diferent to what I expected but I do like it!
The Forest Faery Set is nearly finished too. Just gotta finish the hat and I will list it some time this weekend.
